About Darren

At Blake's Developments & Estates Ltd, we believe that great building work is about more than just bricks and mortar - it's about delivering on a vision, on time, and to the highest standard.

I'm Darren, founder of Blake's Developments & Estates and a tradesman with a lifetime of hands on experience. I started out in carpentry and have spent my entire working career on site, working my way through every aspect of the building trade.

In 2018, I brought that experience together under one roof to create Blake's Developments & Estates Ltd, a company built on craftsmanship, reliability, and a genuine passion for the work we do.

We offer a fully turnkey service, meaning we can take your project from initial concept right through to completion - whether that's a new build, a renovation, a full HMO conversion, an extension, or a smaller job that simply needs doing properly. No project is too large or too small, and each one receives the same commitment to quality.

Away from the tools, I'm a family man and a self-confessed petrolhead, so I understand better than most the value of precision engineering and attention to detail!

On a personal note, I also work closely alongside my wife on our own property projects - renovating, flipping, and developing houses & HMOs together. That shared experience means we don't just build for clients, we build as people who have lived through the process ourselves. We know the decisions you face, the challenges that arise, and what it takes to get a project over the line beautifully.
